Applicants & participants can use an Access Database program for calculating their emission reductions and cost effectiveness. This Access Database program is in an older file format and if you have a newer Access program you may be prompted to convert the database. Go ahead and convert the database if your program prompts you to do so. The file is almost 2.5 megabytes, so be patient.

Please note: Use the 2010 Emission Factors instead of the emission factors included within the Method for Finding Cost Effectiveness program.

Also, and this is VERY IMPORTANT, to save the Access program you must Right-Click on the file name and select Save Target As... and then save it to whatever directory you like. Use your Access program to open the file. Any other method will give you garbage.

Method for Finding Cost Effectiveness.mdb (remember to right-click!)

If you experience trouble with MS ACCESS when using the Method for Finding Cost Effectiveness.mdb, then please review the hard copy version of the Method for Finding Cost Effectiveness.
